Thank you for your interest in the NaXi people and their homeland LiJiang .

The first objective of this website is to present an overview on the NaXi culture
and the greater LiJiang region to the touring public. More importantly, this website
is an introduction to the most significant aspects of the mystical DongBa heritage and
the living NaXi culture, namely the biodiversity of the region; the UNESCO Heritage Site:
LiJiang China; the southern route of the Silk Road known as the Ancient Tea Horse Road;
the matrilineal MoSuo family structure; the NaXi Pictograph Script and the Ancient DongBa Manuscript.
